Today is all about getting some weight on the body. We want two-three hard days over the weekend but shouldn’t be pushing so hard in training that we expose ourselves to injury. One of the biggest contributors to injury is fatigue. We need to manage the efforts and environments such that we challenge the body but also stay healthy. You can do something as simple as throw the pack on and walk around your neighbourhood. Or, if you have some easy trails, then get out on those. Tomorrow is going to be spicy so don’t go crazy.
