Today, I’m asking for a check-in as far as preparation goes.

Think of me as your accountabil-a-buddy for proper preparation.

Do you have an eating plan? How about hydration? Is your pack dialled and is all your gear in order?

If you don’t know, then figure it out. We’ve written extensively on this fitness blog and other areas of the blog about how to best prepare for tough backcountry situations.

If you’re training then take it easy and hit the following:

30-60 minutes walk or hike with no weight, easy terrain

OR

Rest
