Today we’re testing the military press. Military press is a humbling lift but it is without a doubt the best test of functional and integrated upper body pressing strength. Stabilizing the entire lift while on your feet and challenging range of motion at the shoulder is unmatched by any other exercise. Keep it strict by ensuring the knees stay locked and the feet stay flat.

*Starting with a light weight, work to a heavy set of 2 for the day

3 sets:
20 steps dumbbell walking lunges
90-seconds rest between sets

3 rounds, not for time:
10 right-arm dumbbell push press, into…
50′ right arm dumbbell push press, into…
10 right-arm dumbbell bent-over row *no support, into…
50′ right-arm dumbbell farmers carry
*Repeat on the other side to complete one full round

    Push press 35, overhead carry 35, row 50, farmers carry 50lb
